your wedding planner! Hiring a wedding planner is like hiring someone that becomes your best
friend. I’m there to be the main point of contact, get you down the aisle, and make your vision
come to life. I’m there to make it the Best Day Ever!
Hi brides! My name is Kayla, and I’m your go-to gal from the time you say “YES!” to “I do!” My
family and I moved to Arizona in June of 2021 from Alaska. The heat here is seriously crazy. I’m
definitely a frozen tundra kind of girl, but the desert is finally starting to grow on me. I’ve been in
the wedding industry since 2013, right out of high school. I dipped my toe in the water starting
off as a junior stylist working at David’s Bridal. Quickly, I realized the wedding world was my jam.
After planning my wedding without any assistance (not even a Day of Coordinator) I vowed I
couldn’t ever let another bride go through that! Planning my own wedding was stressful, and I
1000% wish I had hired someone like me. After 3 years at David’s Bridal my husband and I
moved to Alaska where I connected with a wedding planner whom I would spend 6 years
learning and growing with.
When I moved my family to Arizona I knew there was no way I could be done in this industry.
The passion and fire I have for making a couple’s dream wedding a reality is far too intense. I
launched Best Day Ever Wedding & Event Planning in February 2022 and it’s been the greatest
decision of my career.
If I’m not sending emails to vendors, meeting with new clients, or coordinating timelines you can
totally catch ya girl strolling down EVERY SINGLE AISLE at Target! If I’m not at Target I’m more
than likely on FaceTime with my best friend that lives in California. I have two toddlers that take
up most of my “free time” (what the even heck is that?!) and a husband that is my number one
supporter. Other than that I’m just that girl that’s living out her fairytale doing the job she
dreamed of when she was a little girl.
